How can I access my voicemail?

You can click on the Voicemail contact or dial *123 from the Freshtel internet phone, the 3010 ATA or other third-party hardware device.

Is there a charge for using voicemail?

No. Voicemail is completely free.

How do I set up my voicemail?

  1. Click on My Account, near the top of the screen on our website at http://www.freshtel.net
  2. Login using your Freshtel internet phone number and password.
  3. Once logged in, select My People.
  4. Click Update A Person On My Account.
  5. Select the person you wish to update.
  6. Scroll down to Freshtel internet phone softphone status.
  7. Change voicemail settings as desired, generally to Redirect to Voicemail. You can set your Voicemail to react differently depending on whether you’re offline or on another call.

Click on Update My Details.

What calls will divert to voicemail?

As long as you’ve set up Voicemail to accept unanswered calls, both Freshtel and landline/mobile calls will be diverted to Voicemail.

Can I forward calls to another number instead of voicemail?

Yes. Simply enter the number that you wish calls to be diverted to when setting up your Voicemail.

How do I set up my redirections?

  1. Click on My Account, near the top of the screen on our website at http://www.freshtel.net
  2. Login using your Freshtel internet phone number and password.
  3. Once logged in, select My People.
  4. Click Update A Person On My Account.
  5. Select the person you wish to update.
  6. Scroll down to Voicemail Settings.
  7. Change voicemail settings to Redirect to a Number. You can set your Voicemail to react differently depending on whether you’re offline or on another call.
  8. Enter the number you wish to redirect to, for example 0400 123 456 will redirect to an Australian mobile number. You can also redirect to another Freshtel number.
  9. Click on Update My Details.

Is there a charge for call forwarding?

Redirection to another Freshtel number is completely free. Redirection to a landline or mobile number will result in both you and the caller being charged normal call rates.
